Tuna is something I always have in the cabinet. When it goes on sale for 50 cents a can, I stock up as much as I can. We eat a lot of tuna sandwiches, sometimes with just mayonnaise and sometimes we go all out adding onions, pickles etc to make a tuna salad. I also stir it into macaroni and cheese and top with crushed potato chips just like my mom used to when I need some comfort food. Adding it to pasta salad helps me stretch a side dish into a main dish.
