A little late getting this post out, but here it is!
Lots of people keep Bisquick or Jiffy Mix in their cabinets. There are always a few different recipes printed on the back, and the website has tons more! We make biscuits or pancakes with it most but I am excited to try some of these new to me ideas. A few use strictly shelf stable ingredients, a few call for other ingredients, but there are tons of ideas! If you have a shelf stable ingredient that you don't know what to do with, or just want to try something different, spending some time on the maker's website can really expand the possibilities for that ingredient.
Here are a few ideas to get started
Churros are always a crowd favorite and this recipe just calls for you to add water and top with cinnamon and sugar
Crackers who knew?!?
And tortillas ???
Donut Holes, shelf stable win!
Dumplings my mom always made dumplings with Bisquick! I do too. I put them here with the other shelf stable recipes because although it calls for milk, you can use powdered or shelf stable milk\
Here are some ideas that don't rely solely on shelf stable ingredients
Cinnamon Rolls I make these often for my family for a dessert, we call them cheater cinnamon rolls because they are not fluffy like yeast rolls, they are more like cinnamon biscuit rolls, but fast, cheap and easy!
Garlic Cheddar Biscuits these are delicious! You don't have to use the heart smart mix, you can use the regular
