Monday Meal Planning and a Fresh Produce Haul

No meats on sale for a price I am willing to pay this week, but lots of produce! For 99 cents a pound I got grapes, tomatoes, mushrooms, and baby carrots. Cucumbers were 99 cents each too and corn on the cob were a quarter each! I was pretty happy with that!

We are also eating a lot of rice this week, luckily there are so many ways to eat rice. I wanted to splurge and have some fancy chicken for a birthday this week so had to buy some extra ingredients. The more ingredients a recipe has, the more expensive it is. But with the honey chicken, the soy sauce and honey I have to buy will not go bad so no worries on wasting any of it. I am hoping next weekend there are some good meat sales for 4th of July.

How are you all doing? Have you made any changes to your eating patterns?
