Monday Meal Planning and Saving Money Using Our Library

public library library drawing easy - Clip Art Library

Not much to report on this week. We are kind of getting into a routine with me working more now. I did think I would share about one way my family saves a lot of money on entertainment. We use the heck out of our library. This week, the big activity in the evening is playing a Playstation 3 game I ordered from the library called Family Game Night 4 Game Show. We have had a lot of fun with this. We were given this playstation about 10 years ago and we use it to play games, have access to Amazon prime streaming service and watch dvds. We don't pay for any other streaming services, we watch things that are on Amazon prime with our membership and you tube. We order books, playstation games, cds, movies and tv series through our little, country library. Right now we have a game for the kids out, an old tv series called The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew, Season 41 of Survivor, the first season of Lost, a Dolly Parton cd and about 20 books. Our librarians are so used to seeing us, they set things aside to show us that other people order so we can order it too when they are done. In the summer, the kids attend the summer reading program events. I don’t know what we would do without our library!

I have heard there are libraries that lend tools, some that lend baking pans, toys, all kinds of stuff! I am so grateful for even our tiny little library, even without all of those other perks. Maybe your library has something cool
