Hi everyone, it's back to the normal routine for us here. The dust is settling here and as nice as it was to have the hubub and see family, I am glad to get back to normal life.
After all the Thanksgiving get togethers, we ended up with a nice lot of leftovers. The kids were not interested in having any more "Thanksgiving Foods" so I got creative. We ended up bringing home turkey, green bean casserole, the remains of a meat and cheese snack tray, broccoli salad and mashed potatoes. I used the remains of the snack tray to make pizza. I used the turkey to make quesadillas that we ate with the broccoli salad. I used the green bean casserole and mashed potatoes to make a Shepherd's pie.
Did you try any new foods or recipes last week? Did you come up with a great leftover makeover? Feel free to share, hope you all have a great week!
