Monday Meal Planning and a Link to a Dollar Tree Easter dinner

It's Monday again! How are all of you? We are doing ok here. I'm tickled because our local IGA had sausage links on sale for $1.99 for 12 so I stocked up so we could have them for breakfast. They also had a deal where if you spent $15 you could buy 2 cartons of eggs for 99 cents each. Score! They were having a two day sale, those are becoming pretty regular with this store and they usually have one or two things that I could really use for a loss leader. This week they were having a 10 for $10 sale, so I grabbed a chocolate cake mix, 1 tub of store brand Cool Whip, 1 bag of marshmallows, 2 boxes of graham crackers, 3 1lb bags of Navy beans,  5 bags of frozen vegetables and 7 16oz bags of pasta. I also scored half gallons of chocolate milk for 99 cents, so got two gallons for the price of one. The kids are really really excited, and honestly, I am not too proud to admit I am looking forward to the chocolate milk myself! I'll save all the sweet things for a special occasion, like maybe chocolate cake iced with the whipped cream for Easter!

For our Easter dinner, I bought an 8.5 pound ham at Krogers for $7. It was 79 cents a pound. You really really can't beat that price for meat. We are very much looking forward to it and all the leftovers!

Here is a video I ran across, her dinner looks good.
