I don't have much to say this week, the world is a discouraging place right now. I hope that you all are able to find a bright spot in each day and are doing ok!
Here is our menu plan for this week, ground beef was on "sale" so we are featuring that in our menu this week, which is cool since there are so many ways to use it. Have a good week!
Monday-
- Breakfast- Toast, egg, banana
- Lunch- Kids eat at school, us- sandwiches, carrots and celery sticks, pretzels
- Dinner- Chili Mac, corn
Tuesday-
- Breakfast- Oatmeal, banana
- Lunch- Kids eat at school, us- Ramen, crackers, canned peaches
- Dinner- Chili Mac, peas
Wednesday-
- Breakfast- Toast, egg, banana
- Lunch- Kids eat at school, us- Sandwiches or leftovers, pretzels, fruit
- Dinner- Creamy Chicken and Rice soup without the chicken, egg salad sandwiches
Thursday-
- Breakfast- Oatmeal,banana
- Lunch- Kids eat at school, us- Leftovers or sandwiches, pretzels, carrots and celery
- Dinner- Quesadillas, chips and salsa
Friday-
- Breakfast- Toast, egg, banana
- Lunch- Kids eat at school, us- burritos, chips and salsa
- Dinner- Black bean burgers, microwave baked potatoes, broccoli
Saturday-
- Brunch- Pancakes, homemade pancake syrup, scrambled eggs, fried bologna, applesauce
- Dinner- Bacon Cheeseburger Skillet, coleslaw
Sunday-
- Brunch- Pancakes, homemade pancake syrup, scrambled eggs, fried bologna, applesauce
- Dinner- Chicken nuggets, One Pot Veggie Rice Bowl
You eat the way we do. Had canned chicken/rice soup tonight, pancakes two days ago, chicken nuggets and making chili tomorrow. Our family has always eaten this way. You're doing a good job feeding your family. Dee
