Happy Memorial Day! We were able to get together with family to grill out hot dogs and corn today, and the weather cooperated! I hope you all had a chance to rest and reflect. I don't have much to write about this week. We are looking forward to feasting on peaches and corn on the cob this week, as we got to take advantage of the Memorial Day grocery sales.
Here is this week's menu plan, have a great week!
Monday-
- Breakfast- Leftover pancakes, strawberries
- Lunch- sandwiches, crackers, peach
- Dinner- Hot dogs, grilled corn on the cob, chips, fruit salad
Tuesday-
- Breakfast- Oatmeal, Peanut butter and banana smoothies
- Lunch- Egg salad sandwiches, crackers, apple
- Dinner- Black bean burgers, cole slaw, roasted potatoes
Wednesday-
- Breakfast- Cinnamon raisin oatmeal, banana
- Lunch- sandwiches, crackers, peach
- Dinner- 4 Layer Burritos, corn, chips and salsa
Thursday-
- Breakfast- Oatmeal, Peanut butter and banana smoothies
- Lunch- French toast, peach
- Dinner- Cheesy White Bean and Tomato Bake, peas, bread and butter
Friday-
- Breakfast- Peanut butter and strawberry jam toast, banana
- Lunch- Ramen, crackers, carrots and celery
- Dinner- Baked chicken and gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, biscuits
Saturday-
- Breakfast- Fried egg and bologna sandwich
- Lunch- Hot dogs, mac and cheese, veggies and dip
- Dinner- Spaghetti, green beans, garlic toast
Sunday-
- Breakfast- Oatmeal Pancakes , homemade pancake syrup, scrambled eggs
- Lunch- Bean and cheese quesadillas, chips and salsa
- Dinner- Fake jambalaya, green beans, garlic toast
