I don't have a lot of practice cooking pork steak, but it was on sale this week for a meat price per pound that I am willing to pay, so I'll try it. I'm planning to cook them Sunday night as that's when I usually have the time and energy to try a new recipe. After googling around, I found a recipe that sounded good and used stuff I already had in my fridge or pantry, so, yay!
We loved last weeks Mashed Potato Casserole. I mean it was a real hit and everyone wanted to add it to the rotation. I served it as a main meal casserole and no one seemed to feel like they were missing anything, so, yay! I think what I like about this recipe most is that you can use up whatever kinds of cheese you have, and it doesn't have to exact measurements. Same goes with the bacon, you can use as little or as much as you want.
Frozen pizzas are on sale this week so I got two. I'll make one this week and they can have pizza in a couple of lunches and one next week. They are very excited!

Monday-
- Breakfast- Leftover pancakes, banana
- Lunch- Sandwiches, crackers, apple
- Dinner- Oven Mushroom Rice, butter beans mixed with green beans, bread and butter
Tuesday-
- Breakfast- Peanut butter and chocolate chip oatmeal, banana
- Lunch- 2 slices of frozen pizza, carrots and celery sticks
- Dinner- Kielbasa, Pepper, Onion and Potato Hash, corn, bread and butter
Wednesday-
- Breakfast- Ham and Cheddar muffins, orange slices
- Lunch- Sandwiches, crackers, apple
- Dinner- Spinach and Mushroom Quesadilla, peas, Spanish rice(save some rice for tomorrow)
Thursday-
- Breakfast- Peanut butter and chocolate chip oatmeal, banana
- Lunch- 2 slices of pizza, carrots and celery sticks
- Dinner- Oven Baked Chimichangas (using leftover rice, refried beans and cheese), bagged salad
Friday-
- Breakfast- Ham and Cheddar muffins, orange slices
- Lunch- Sandwiches, crackers, apple
- Dinner- Hot dogs, tater tots (save some for tomorrows lunch), Cole Slaw
Saturday-
- Breakfast- Biscuits and gravy (save some for lunch), cooked apples
- Lunch- Breakfast burrito (tater tots, cheese and sausage gravy), veggies and dip
- Dinner- One pan chicken and gravy , mashed potatoes, biscuits, carrots
Sunday-
- Breakfast- Oatmeal Pancakes , homemade pancake syrup, sliced oranges
- Lunch- Leftover buffet, veg and dip
- Dinner- Pan Seared Pork Steak, roasted potatoes, roasted broccoli, garlic toast
