Pork steaks were on sale for $1.99 a pound at my local grocery store this week, so thought I would fix that this week. A pork steak is actually a steak cut from the Boston Butt (also known as the Pork Butt) which comes from the shoulder. There is more fat and marbling on these cuts than a pork chop, and are usually less expensive. Definitely worth trying out if you haven't before.
I don't have any good advice for this week, but I do want to encourage you. For me, every trip to the grocery store is anxiety producing any more. But, we can do this. With all of the other stuff going on in the world, a little perspective is helpful. Yes the price of everything stinks and we are having to cut and cut and cut. But we can do this. I believe in us.
Hope you all have a great week!
